Ooredoo Maldives celebrated its 15th anniversary, on Saturday.

As part of the celebration, the local telecommunications giant unveiled special offers for customers for the month of August.

The anniversary packages include promotions offering up to 50 percent bonus data to its Prepaid customers, 20 percent Extra Data on all Postpaid monthly data packs, 15 percent bonus data on all recharges for new Faseyha Mini customers, and 15 percent discount on IDD rates for all SAARC nations.

In a message conveying the day’s greetings, Ooredoo Maldives’ CEO Najib Khan said that the company “cannot be more excited” about its journey in the island nation, and thanked Ooredoo customers “customers for the continuous support which drives us to continue to provide world class internet services and bring new technologies to establish a digital Maldives.”

Najib added that they hope that the customers “enjoy this little gift” to celebrate Ooredoo Maldives’ milestone, and assured that the company will bring the “latest global technologies so that [its] customers have access to everything that the Internet world has to offer.”

Ooredoo Maldives’ Chairman, Andrew Kvalseth, also extended greetings and said that the continuous support “reaffirms [Ooredoo’s] commitment to Maldives in enriching lives through digital”.
