Maldives Covid-19 recoveries has surpassed 2,000.
While the country reported 25 new cases on Saturday, these include 19 locals as well as four Bangladeshis nationals and one each from India and Nepal.
This brings the country’s Covid-19 case count to 2,435.
In addition, 54 recoveries were reported on Saturday. While this pushes the total recoveries to 2,030, there are currently 390 active cases in the country.
Two Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the week, while the death of a third patient has been ruled as not related to Covid-19.
