Transport authority to introduce online services
They are working to launch these online service by June 8
The ministry has been continuing the provision of civil aviation and regional airport services without interruption as well
Authorities have been providing services to the public, online, since the Covid-19 pandemic surfaced in the country

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has revealed plans to launch all of their services online.

Speaking at a virtual committee meeting of the People’s Majlis National Development and Heritage Committee on Wednesday night, State Minister Ahmed Zuhair revealed that work is underway to provide all of their services online, in order to provide easy access to the people.

This will be completed within the coming week, said the State Minister.

With this, the ministry’s services will be expanded further and individuals will be able to access the services online without having to visit the ministry, even if the lockdown comes to an end.

Zuhair added that they are working to launch these online service by June 8.

The ministry has been continuing the provision of civil aviation and regional airport services without interruption as well.

Following the Covid-19 pandemic surfacing in the Maldives during March, a number of government institutions and agencies have converted to online services by establishing several portals to serve the people.
