Gender Ministry has sought from individuals with special needs to reach out to NSPA through the agency’s hotline, 1402.
The ministry assured the public that these requests will be attended to as swiftly as possible
They have also collaborated with the Youth Ministry to provide deliveries for families with special needs members

Individuals will special needs have been sought to reach out to the National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) if they require any assistance.

Following the lockdown declared across the Greater Malé Region on April 15, the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services has been monitoring the status of such individuals, closely.

The Gender Ministry has also collaborated with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment to provide deliveries for families with special needs members.

As such, the Gender Ministry has sought from individuals with special needs to reach out to NSPA for any assistance through the agency’s hotline, 1402.

The ministry assured the public that these requests will be attended to as swiftly as possible.

Further, in their efforts to provide help for those in need during these challenging times of the Covid-19 crisis, the ministry has also checked on the status of 101 elders.
