An additional 45 cases of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) virus, have been confirmed in the Maldives
This pushes the country's total to 835.
The new cases announced on Sunday include 22 Bangladeshi nationals, 20 Maldivians, two Nepalese nationals and one Indian.
While Maldives confirmed the first Covid-19 cases on March 7, a community transmission was detected on April 15.
While the country's Covid-19 total sits at 835, Maldives has seen three Covid-19 related deaths and 29 recoveries.
