Maldive Gas has announced that their emergency gas delivery services have been made available on Thursday as well.
The announcement was made via Twitter on Thursday morning.
As such, the company revealed that they will be providing emergency gas delivery services from 9am to 08:30pm on Thursday.
While a 24-hour lockdown was declared across the Greater Malé Region on Wednesday following the discovery of the first community transmission case of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), Maldive Gas revealed that they will be delivering gas cylinders to doorsteps, as a precautionary measure in this situation.

The company has urged customers to stay home during these challenging times.
The government has been allowing and facilitating the delivery of essentials for the people during lockdown hours, and it revealed that this may be extended if required.
As of Thursday, there are 23 confirmed cases in the Maldives out of which 16 patients have recovered. Three cases were confirmed in capital city Malé on Wednesday.
