All domestic flights of Maldivian airline have been temporarily suspended due to the 24-hour lockdown declared in Male' City.
The Maldives' national airline made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday.
The airline has temporarily suspended all domestic flights until further notice from the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
A 24-hour lockdown was declared in the capital after a Male' City resident tested positive for Covid-19, despite zero connection to a confirmed case or travel history.
With the new case discovered on Wednesday, the total number of confirmed cases in the country is at 21.
