The Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that the patient had no travel history abroad, and that the person had tested positive upon presenting to Male' flu clinic with flu-like symptoms on Tuesday night.
It noted that 'a rapid response team was active immediately upon confirmation and that the patient's home had been quarantined'.
