Covid-19: Travelers Clinic changed into Flu Clinic
 
The number of visitors to the traveler's clinic fell after Maldives stopped issuing on-arrival visas and began subjecting all arrivals into the country to a 14-day quarantine

The Travelers Clinic established in connection to Covid-19 has been changed into a Flu Clinic.

According to a press release by Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), the Travelers Clinic situated behind Male' Hiya 2 has been modified into a Flu Clinic as of April 2nd. The clinic will offer services from 10 am to 11 pm and will cater to locals and foreign nationals alike.

As such, the statement urges anyone experiencing flu-like symptoms to visit the clinic and seek medical attention.

With the discovery of Covid-19 cases in the Maldives, a total of three clinics were established in the Greater Male' Region. They include the travel clinic for people with travel history, Senahiya's flu-clinic and the Expat flu clinic established at Hulhumale' pre-school.

Other flu clinics have been established at Addu City Regional Hospital (ARH) and Tree Top hospital.

Additional measures taken to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the Maldives include the suspension of on-arrival visa's and subjecting all arrivals to a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Thus, the number of visitors to the traveller's clinic has since come to a standstill.
