Authorities have revealed that three islands and three safaris are currently under monitoring.
This was revealed by the Spokesperson of the Covid-19 task force, Mabrook Aziz during a press conference on Thursday night.
As such, Mabrook shared the latest updates regarding the Covid-19 situation in the Maldives, adding that three safaris including Island Safari where two positive cases were discovered and Maha Safari.
Three of the islands that are currently under monitoring include JA Manafaru, Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa and Grand Park Kodhipparu, where samples are being taken from a foreign national who developed Covid-19-like symptoms.
The individual has since been placed under home isolation as a precautionary measure.
As of Thursday, a total of 804 samples have been taken out of which 786 tested negative and 13, positive.
The total number of individuals under isolation remains at 21 and those who have been quarantined reach 737.
Further, Mabrook added that a total of 366 individuals consulted the several flu clinics established by the government within he past 24 hours with 3,797 consulting up till date.
