Vice President Faisal Naseem has said that “students can set ambitions of working closely with teachers with respect and learning from them”.

The VP said this while speaking at the event held to mark the 35th anniversary of Jamaluddin School on Sunday morning.

Noting the importance of respecting teachers and parents, Naseem also reminisced memories of his school days.

He advised the students on the importance “of correcting small mistakes, working collectively and respecting teachers, parents and elderly people” and stressed that they “can set ambitions of working closely with teachers with respect and learning from them.”

The vice president also praised Jamaluddin School for its various achievements in the past 35 years, including being the first school to initiate “special education.”

He also highlighted its work to protect the environment, which he said is seen by the 1997 ‘Fehi Fai’ award presented by the president to the school for its work towards environmental conservation.

VP Naseem also presented badges for students selected for senior rank at the school during the ceremony, and also participated in the cake cutting ceremony.
