Police captures 34-yo jail escapee from southernmost Addu
He is to be sent to capital city Malé to do his time

He was brought back into custody on Wednesday night
Maldives Police Service (MPS) has captured the man who fled while under policy custody in Hithadhoo district of southernmost Addu City.
Police media official revealed that the 34-year-old, who was arrested over theft allegations on 9 December, fled from Hithadhoo Police Station on Wednesday afternoon.
While he was captured later the same day, officers brought him back into custody on Wednesday night.
He is to be sent to capital city Malé to do his time, revealed police.
