Lily Beach Resort and Spa

A 74-year-old Chinese tourist has drowned while out snorkeling in Lily Beach Resort and Spa in South Ari atoll.

Police said that the incident occurred at around 4:15pm on Thursday, and that he was transferred to Mahibadhoo hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the incident.
