236 parties representing over 100 local travel brands have been nominated in multiple categories for the Award.

Nominations for the Gala Edition of the Maldives Travel Awards, organised by the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO), has been announced.
According to MATATO, 236 parties representing over 100 local travel brands have been nominated in multiple categories for the Award.
Criteria for the award tally 40% of public votes and 60% of votes from a special panel.
Voting is open to the public from the 31st of October to the 30th of November.
The annual award ceremony, scheduled to be held on the 7th of December, recognizes contributions to the travel and tourism sector and is organized by MATATO.
Maldives Travel Awards, founded in 2012, presents three editions of the award which include the Gala Edition, People's edition, and the Guest House Edition.
The awarding ceremony will be held on December 7.
