Parliament Speaker Mohamed Nasheed has announced the decision to open for membership at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
Opportunity will be opened to vie as a member of the general public appointed by the People’s Majlis as mandated under the Maldives Constitution.
While the opportunity was opened previously, three names were forwarded to the committee for evaluation the first-time round. However, the Judiciary Committee sought to announce the membership anew to give application opportunity for more individuals.
