Ministry of Crab franchise has opened an outlet at the Crossroads Maldives.
A special inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday evening, with famous author and television host Rashmi Uday Singh as the chief guest. Rashmi has 15 years of experience in the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) under her belt and resigned from her post as Commissioner of Tax due to her interest in the journalism field.
Speaking to RaajjeMv, Rashmi expressed appreciation for being invited as a special guest for the opening and noted that the Ministry of Crabs’ "consistency" in the taste of its dishes across all the restaurants of this franchise.
The world famous Ministry of Crab is a Sri Lankan franchise, and specializes in seafood, specifically in crabs and lobsters.
Chef Dharshan Munidasa told RaajjeMv, that the restaurant plans to bring in fresh seafood, not frozen, thrice a week from Sri Lanka, setting it apart from other restaurants.
The restaurant can currently cater to up to 48 people but plans to broaden its services "soon."
Since the franchise’s establishment 8eight years ago, they have gained popularity and currently have locations in Sri Lanka, Shanghai, Manila, and Mumbai.
