The increase of mental health practitioners in Maldives is a promising feat for the sector, says First Lady Fazna Ahmed.
Inaugurating the Thibaa Psychology Clinic in capital city Malé on Sunday evening, Fazna stated that the number of practitioners in the field has observably been on the rise lately.
She further encouraged workers in the field to come together to work in the same spirit in order to enhance the field.
Urging advocates and mental health practitioners to come together towards a collective effort in creating awareness among the society on mental health issues, the First Lady encouraged workers in the field to give their best to create awareness about mental health.
Alongside touring the clinic, Fazna also launched the official website for the psychology clinic.
