President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has begun a tour across Thaa atoll on Thursday.
His first stop was in Dhiyamigili island, where he was received with a warm welcome on Thursday.
During the ongoing visit, he will meet council members and senior representatives at institutions.
The President’s next stop will be in Buruni island where he is to attend and deliver an address at the Golden Jubilee celebration of the island’s school.
Further, Solih is scheduled to meet with Buruni council members and institution officials, along with those from Vilufushi island as well.
Solih will also be holding discussions with Thaa Atoll Council, on Thursday.
