Amirul Hajj returns to Maldives

Amirul Hajj and Minister of Planning and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam has returned to Maldives.
As the leader of the Maldives Hajj pilgrims appointed by the government, Minister Aslam had worked closely with the agencies and pilgrims and assisted them throughout the Hajj pilgrimage.
He returned to Maldives Sunday and was greeted by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Ahmed Zahir and other senior officials of the Islamic Ministry.
Saudi Arabia permitted a quota of 2,000 pilgrims from Maldives this year.
The agencies permitted to handle the pilgrimage trips are Maldives Hajj Corporation, Zaee Group, Tazkiya, Al Hajj & Umrah Group, Mina Hajj & Umrah, and Acro Hajj and Umrah.
A Maldives Hajj Mission was also opened in Mecca before the Hajj pilgrimage.
