Machinery is being brought in to Fuvahmulah for the ring road development project, states the City Council.
Fuvahmulah City Council’s Deputy Mayor Mohamed Liraar said that the ring road project has begun.
Deputy Mayor Liraar said that currently workers are leveling the roads to lay in the tar and that the required machinary and equipment will be brought when needed, since there is no need to bring in all the machinery and equipment at once.
He said that they plan to complete the project as soon as possible since the locals are expecting the ring road.
MTCC is tasked with the completing the ring road development project within 240 days.
The MVR 32 million project involves developing a 2,400-square-meter ring road as well as establishing speed breakers, LED lamps and a drainage system.
