President Solih set to embark on state visit to Seychelles in August
Expected to sign several MoUs


First Couple heads abroad on a state visit
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is scheduled to embark on a state visit to the Republic of Seychelles in August, revealed the President’s Office.
Solih is set to travel to Seychelles from 2 to 4 August upon the invitation extended by the President of the country, Danny Faure.
The Seychelles President’s Special Envoy Mohamed Afif presented the invitation through a letter to the Maldives President during a formal visit this month.
Afif currently serves as Seychelles Secretary of State for Cabinet Affairs.
The visit is expected to be proven as an advantage to the friendly relations between both island nations through the signing of several Memorandums of Understands as well as a series of bilateral exchanges, at the “highest level”, revealed the President’s Office.
