The Coast Guard has found the body of a foreign crewman who was reported missing on Friday morning.

The body was found 21 meters under water at 4:21pm.

Maldives National Defence Force stated that the body was taken to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital to confirm death.

The man had gone missing after he dove under water to pull out an anchor of a fishing boat docked at K. Gulhifalhu.
