JSC to increase number of Criminal Court justices

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided to add two more seats to the judges’ bench of the Criminal Court.
During a press conference on Wednesday, the commission’s Director Hassan Zaheen revealed that the Supreme Court had requested the commission to increase the number of judges at the Criminal Court.
Further, JSC revealed that they will be making the announcement for interested individuals to come forth, on Thursday
Deadline for interested individuals to come forth ends on 11 July.
Currently, 10 justices preside the Criminal Court bench.
