Ooredoo Maldives has launched a special mobile package for farmers, with exciting offers.
Collaboratively with the Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture, the package revolves around providing bonus data and free calls as well as messages for local farmers and was launched at a special ceremony on Saturday.
Ooredoo's Director of Sales and Brand, Hussain Niyaz had signed the initiative agreement to launch the mobile plan while Permanent Secretary had signed the agreement on behalf of the ministry.
The ceremony was joined by Minister Zaha Waheed, who stated that the brand-new package will enable swift work and additionally pave convenience to over 7,000 farmers who have been registered at the Ministry.
Niyaz stated that farmers who subscribe to the package will receive discounts on fertilizers and other agricultural products sold in capital city Malé.
Further, farmers may view the information posted on the ministry’s official website through this mobile plan.
Expressing hope that this mobile plan will become a success, Niyaz highlighted that their packages specialized for fishermen last year had also been widely popular.
While interested individuals may contact Ooredoo’s head office for further queries, only registered farmers will be given information on the packages.
