Local telecommunications provider Dhiraagu has on Saturday re-opened the play area in Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in commemoration of Children’s Day 2019.

While the play area was developed and re-opened on Saturday just in time for Children’s Day, the new design shows picturesque designs of the marine life.

The play area, which was gifted from the telecom provider to the hospital, is used by many children who visit the hospital.

It is located near the Out Patient Department (OPD) area and aims at facilitating for the needs of children who wish to enjoy their time while at the hospital.

Dhiraagu revealed that they highly prioritize facilitating for the needs of children. As such, they contribute immensely to children’s rights advocated through their annual “Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race” every year.

The telecom giant also provides generous contributions to local NGOs that work to maintain and advocate for children’s rights.
