The Calorie Counter closes outlet in Maldives
The Calorie Counter's Maldivian outlet was opened in the capital in March 2018

The Calorie Counter has closed its outlet in Malé City.

Its local owner, Mohamed Infaz said that it had not received the response they had anticipated from the public. He added that this had affected the business as well.

After announcing plans to shut down last week, the restaurant was closed after business hours on Sunday.

The Calorie Counter, Sri Lanka’s pioneering health food restaurant chain, aims to improve food safety practices in the restaurant sector.

Its Maldivian outlet was opened in March 2018.
