Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has begun training programs in capital city Malé.

MNDF revealed that their trainings began at 8am on Friday and is set to conclude at 5pm. These training are being held in Malé and its suburban extension Hulhumale.

RaajjeMV understands that officers will be armed during these training sessions. As such, MNDF officers are using weapons such as rifles as well as explosives.

This is a part of regular training sessions MNDF holds in the Greater Malé Region.
