The President’s Office has on Thursday made new diplomatic appointments to the United States of America and the United Kingdom.
Dr. Farahnaz Faisal was appointed Maldivian ambassador to the United Kingdom. Dr Farahnaz has previously been part of Maldives’ diplomatic missions in Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, Spain, and Sweden.
Thilmeeza Hussain has been appointed as the new Maldivian ambassador to the United States of America, and permanent representative to the United Nations.
