Developing education is of utmost importance to this government and is key to national development itself, says Vice President Faisal Naseem.
Faisal said this while speaking at an event to inaugurate a public school in Kaashidhoo island, adding that educators must ensure children know how to live a ‘disciplined and prosperous life’.
Speaking at the event, Faisal highlighted steps that the current government will be taking to improve access to quality education for students across the country.
Drafting a bill to revise the Maldives National Qualifications Authority’s framework and improve education for primary, secondary, and higher stages is one of the current government’s first 100-day pledges.
Another such pledge is to improve access to quality education for students with special needs.
