Reiterating his complete trust in Ahmed Saleem, the candidate fielded by main ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) for Hoarafushi constituency in the 19th Parliament, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has urged the people to cast their votes for Saleem in the parliamentary elections.

After arriving in Hoarafushi island as part of his ongoing tour across Thiladhunmathi atoll on Sunday, President Solih took the podium at Saleem’s campaign event in the morning and noted that Saleem is a cultured and capable candidate.

Highlighting that the audience at the event is a clear sign of the results for the constituency, President Solih went on to assure the residents of the island that he will fulfill the pledges he has made to the constituents during his presidential campaign.

Some of the pledges include the development of Hoarafushi Airport which is currently underway, road development projects and upgrading the island’s health center into a hospital.
