Maldives Vice President Faisal Naseem has reiterated the government’s vision of progressing the economy and tourism industry in a sustainable way in harmony with Maldives natural environment and cultural heritage.
VP Naseem made this remark while attending the “Maldivian Night” held Grant Hyatt Berlin for the Maldives’ representatives at the ITB fair on Wednesday.
He also said this must be done while maintaining the world-renowned quality of service and commitment towards excellence.
Organized by the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation, the event was joined by Maldivian representative, foreign delegates and international media and was entertained by several musical and cultural performance items dedicated to showcasing the festive spirit, energy and variety that have been long-standing trademarks of the Maldives’ culture and traditions.
VP Naseem departed to attend the ITB Fair held in Berlin, on Tuesday, as the head of the delegation to the tourism exhibition.
ITB Berlin, being held from 6th to 10th March, opens the opportunity for industry partners to meet and associate.
The annual exhibition is joined by 10,000 exhibitors from over 180 countries including leaders of the travel industry and all the innovative services and products offered in the industry.
