EC opened the opportunity for voters wishing to vote in a location different to the one in last year’s presidential election.
Voters will be unable to change their voting location after the voter’s list is publicized.
Ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) had helped voters with the re-registration process.
507 ballot boxes are to be placed in the parliamentary election, for which 264,589 people are eligible to vote.
