The Elections Commission (EC) has decided that polling stations are to be set up in 39 island resorts for the parliamentary elections, slated for April 6th.
The commission announced this on Wednesday, although they have yet to reveal a list of which resorts the polling stations are to be set up at.
EC is setting up polling stations in resorts that have at least 50 voters registered by 18th February; voters that registered for September’s presidential election are not required to register again.
264,589 people are voting in the upcoming election.
