Telecommunications company Ooredoo Maldives has invited shareholders to their general assembly.
Ooredoo said in a statement on Monday that only shareholders registered with the company before the 21st of this month can participate in the assembly.
Ooredoo announced last week that they will be distributing dividends for 2018 at MVR 3.22 per share.
Ooredoo Maldives said last Tuesday that 88 percent of the company’s net profit for last year will be distributed as dividends.
Ooredoo announced its decision to become a public trading company in 2016 and commenced secondary market trading the following year.
The company raised over MVR 421 million – having sold over 14 million shares to a total of 8,257 investors – during its initial public offering.
