Telecommunications company Ooredoo Maldives is distributing dividends for 2018 at MVR 3.22 per share.
The company announced this at their annual board meeting held on Tuesday, 29th January. This rate will be proposed at the company’s general assembly.
Ooredoo Maldives said on Tuesday that 88 percent of the company’s net profit will be distributed as dividends.
Ooredoo announced its decision to become a public trading company in 2016 and commenced secondary market trading the following year.
The company raised over MVR 421 million – having sold over 14 million shares to a total of 8,257 investors – during its initial public offering.
