Maldives Police Service (MPS) has on Saturday, found a dead body inside a house in the Galolhu-ward of capital city Male’.

The individual is believed to have been dead for a while, as his body was found two days after he was last heard from.

An employee at the state electric company STELCO, he was married at the time of his death; however the couple lived separately.

He was on leave from work, at the time of his death. 

Police have not released any details in the case.
