The body of an expatriate has been brought to the Hulhumale Hospital, reveals Maldives Police Service (MPS).

Police received the report at around 2pm on Sunday.

The Bangladeshi national was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Police revealed that there had been no visible signs of injuries to the body.

The man had been living in Hulhumale' along with other expatriate workers.

Police are currently investigating the death of the Bangladeshi national.
