A speeding car in Eydhafushi crashed into a mosque’s front entrance after breaking through the outer wall on Wednesday.

The police service stated that the accident occurred at 10:35am.

The driver lost control of the car and crashed into Masjid Ul Yusuf mosque near the island harbor. While a passenger was also inside the vehicle, no one was hurt in the accident.

The police stated that the driver was using a temporary license.
