A fire incident at the Reethi Beach resort in Baa atoll has stalled operations on the island.
The resort said that the fire originated at about 12:30pm on Saturday, ‘within the back of house area’, and has been controlled with absolutely no injuries.
Reethi Beach said that the cause of the fire is yet unknown and that the staff is working to ensure that the resort becomes fully operational soon.

The resort says that they will be relocating guests, if necessary, to the Reethi Faru resort.
