The presidential commission on murders and disappearances have asked anyone with information on some of their cases to contact them.

The commission is seeking information on the murder of religious scholar Afrasheem Ali and blogger Yameen Rasheed as well as the disappearance of journalist Ahmed Rilwan.

In a tweet, the commission asked that anyone with information that might be useful to contact them via direct message on Twitter or send them an email.

The commission said that it will keep the personal identity of those providing them with information confidential and will also give them protection. The commission also encouraged people to send them direct messages anonymously.

The commission to investigate unsolved murders and disappearances was established by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on his first day in office. The government coalition is currently working to pass a bill to give more authority to the commission.
