The Civil Service Commission’s plans to change the civil service framework will not result in the loss of employment for anyone, the commission said on Wednesday.
The commission, which is to review its redundancy regulations for civil staff, addressed reports that employees are to be laid off.
The commission said in a statement on Wednesday that they have not asked any branches of state to dismiss any employees in relation to the changes.
The statement also says that any employees who are made to leave their employment as a result of these changes, will have employment found for them.
The statement refutes reports that changes to the redundancy regulations is to result in over 40 employees at the Housing Ministry losing employment.
