State minister at the home ministry Ali Nazeer has been appointed as the Registrar of Associations.

The home ministry stated that Nazeer was appointed under Article 39 of the Associations Act.

According to the article, the President appoints the Registrar, who is tasked with registering associations in the Maldives.
