Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited various districts in Addu City as part of his tour of Addu and Fuvahmulah Cities.
As such, Naseem visited Hulhumeedhoo, Feydhoo, Maradhoo and Hithadhoo districts on Wednesday.
During his visit, Naseem had taken a tour of health centers in Maradhoo and Feydhoo where he checked the conditions of patients admitted there and met with employees.

He also visited the Maradhoo-Feydhoo Dhamana veshi (Urban Primary Healthcare Centre) where he met with employees and inquired on the challenges they face.
In Hithadhoo, he visited the island’s council and took a tour of the Family and Children’s Center in the island, Hithadhoo Aftercare Rehabilitation Centre and Hithadhoo Regional Hospital, meeting with its employees.

RaajjeMV understands that Naseem attended a children’s festival in Hithadhoo which was organized by the Seenu atoll branch of Maldivian Red Crescent.
The President’s Office further revealed that Naseem checked on the progress of the Tertiary Hospital that is being developed where the Equatorial Convention Center used to stand.
Recently, Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen assured the public that the expectations of the city’s resident will be met when the government is done with the Tertiary Hospital’s development and it begins its services.
Naseem’s first visit since assuming office in November was to Dhidhdhoo island in Haa Alif atoll.
This week, he also toured Kaafu atoll, having visited Guraidhoo and Maafushi islands. Naseem had visited the Center for Persons with Special Needs in Guraidhoo, as well as Maafushi Prison to inspect the conditions of inmates.
