President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has on Wednesday, made six new appointments to five ministries.
While the President also appointed the Chief Communications Strategist at the President’s Office, six new state ministers were presented their letters of appointment at a ceremony held at the President’s Office on Wednesday afternoon.
President Solih appointed Ibrahim Hoodh as the Chief Communications Strategist at the President’s Office and RaajjeMV understands that the appointment was made at the State Ministerial level.
The six State Ministers appointed today are:
- Ahmed Afzal Ibrahim as Minister of State for Communication, Science and Technology
- Mohamed Zuhair as Minister of State for Health
- Dr. Shah Abdullah Mahir as Minister of State for Health
- Fathimath Naseer as Minister of State for Education
- Ahmed Zuhair as Minister of State for Transport and Civil Aviation
- Ahmed Solih as Minister of State for Tourism
These appointments come at a time President Solih is seen making appointments to senior positions at other Ministries as well.
