President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has on Thursday, appointed three new Ministers of State.
As such, the President made new appointments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry for Arts, Culture and Heritage as well as Ministry for Economic Development.
President Solih, freshly sworn-in on the 17th of November, appointed Ahmed Khaleel, who previously served as a Bilateral Secretary at the Ministry to the post of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
The second appointment is to the post of Minister of State for Economic Development, which was given to Neeza Imad, and the third, Mohamed Thoriq as Minister of State for Arts, Culture and Heritage.
President Solih also appointed a Foreign Secretary to the Ministry to Foreign Affairs.
The post was given to Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed, who previously held the post of Maldives Ambassador to the United Nations.

While President Solih has made these appointments, he had also made appointments to senior positions at other Ministries as well.
