President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has urged his cabinet Ministers to avoid corrupt practices.
While President Solih held the first meeting with the new cabinet on Monday, he also urged his Ministers to begin government works, especially the work to be done within the first 100 days of his government, as efficiently and swiftly as possible, further urging them to refrain from practicing the culture of corruption.

Moreover, details were shared on this year’s budget as well as the upcoming budget that will be comprised to acknowledge everything related to state institutions and companies, the status of state employees, manuals as well as procedures that are followed under the protocols and guidelines at institutions.
Other discussions include details of incoming important national schemes conducted by state institutions, reviewing the investigations of committees as well as proposals for finding solutions to complaints and issues that surface in institutions.
While this was the first cabinet meeting to be held since it was comprised upon President Solih’s inauguration, all Ministers were present at the meeting.
