Sheikh Imran Abdulla is not someone who is greedy for power, rather someone who creates leaders, says RaajjeTV's managing director Ahmed Saleem.

Saleem said this while speaking during Adhaalath Party’s leader Sheikh Imran Abdulla’s visit to the station premises on Saturday evening.

Highlighting that true leaders are those who create leaders over the ones that promote self-leadership, Saleem said that Imran has proven himself to be a true example of leadership.

“Sheikh Imran’s visit to RaajjeTV brings us immense joy. It gives us pleasure that you prioritized our station to be among the first ones in your visit list since being freed. Our hope is that you will remain in your reform efforts for the nation and its people” said Saleem.

Noting that Imran is seen as someone who keeps aside his own life to serve for the nation, although he has had to face immense pressures and challenges for it, Saleem highlighted that Imran’s last interview before he was taken into police custody was also to RaajjeTV.

Saleem further said that the opposition leader also spoke to RaajjeTV when given the slightest opportunity while behind bars.

“It is notable that Sheikh Imran keeps a close bond with the station, with it being the first media outlet visited by him since being released from jail” said Saleem.

Imran played an important role in reform efforts to bring back justice to the nation. He came out to join reform efforts during a fearsome ambiance in the country due to political turmoil.
