Missing tourist from Fihalhohi island resort has been found dead.
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) stated the 31-year-old man was found underwater, at around 8:45am on Wednesday.
His nationality has not been disclosed.
He was holidaying in Maafushi island in Kaafu atoll, and had traveled to Fihalhohi Island Resort for a quick trip.
MNDF said that it received a missing person report on Tuesday afternoon.
