President-elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has on Thursday met with the management and staff of State Electric Company Limited (STELCO).
Speaking to STELCO employees during the visit, Solih expressed his hope that the company will back the implementation of the new administration’s pledges, while the management of the company gave their assurance to Solih that they will stand ready to “implement” his pledges.

While discussions were held to ensure ways to provide electricity for the citizens in an adequate and efficient manner, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Zuhoor had assured the company’s full cooperation with the President-elect in executing his requests.
Solih has been seen visiting the citizens as well as state institutions and their leaders since his momentous win in the Presidential Election held on the 23rd of September.
