A squadron of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF)’s Male’ area coastguard has begun work to re-float a vessel than ran aground a patch of reef early Friday.

MNDF officials revealed that a team of divers from the coastguard had begun work to re-float the fishing vessel, “Magulas”, that had reportedly run aground a reef eastward of Fushi Dhiggaru Falhu.

MNDF had on Friday cautioned seafarers to be cautious of floating supplies and other material in the area.
